The government said there were errors in the information and process of filling out the form so it deleted the message it had published requesting to fill out the form.
The Government issued a statement on Thursday, urging more than one bank user to enter the bank and fill out a new form. The scheme also applies to any bank account holder including companies.
She also said she needed information from Nigerians on the new form from financial institutions to implement the rules in line with the 2019 tax law.
The announcement by the Nigerian government did not go down well with Nigerians who have been reacting to the new measure.
